This projects explores the potential links between percieved moral polaisation in Western societies and support for populist strong leaders. We found higher perceived moral polarisation predicted increased support for both authoritarian and progressive strong leaders via the perceived breakdown of society (i.e., the breakdown of social fabric and leadership).
