Identifying different ‘types’ of participants in the Chilean student movement

A latent transition analysis of participation, identity and social class.

Based on longitudinal data collected in Chile between 2018 and 2019, this study explored whether there are different types of participants based on their collective action intentions, social identification and social class. This study focused on participants from the Chilean student movement.
