Researcher biography
Blake’s research focuses on translating the social identity approach to leadership into practice through practical interventions such as the 5R leadership programme. His research is primarily carried out in high-reliability organisations (HROs), where there is a high risk of catastrophic outcomes and significant complexity. In 2022, the 5R Leadership Development Programme was licensed to Blake’s consultancy firm Identify Leadership Pty Ltd by UQ’s commercialisation company UniQuest.
