Professor Alex Haslam, Associate Professor Nik Steffens, Professor Kim Peters and Blake McMillan were recent finalists in the Evidence-Based Leadership Development Program Award sponsored by the Academy of Management in recognition of their 5R leadership program.
The goal of the award is to recognise high quality leadership development programs with a strong vision of effective leadership and a clear method of implementation supported by evidence.
Professor Haslam was invited to the awards session at the Academy of Management’s recent conference where the results were announced and where he presented a talk on the 5R program on behalf of the team, “Putting the ‘we’ into leading: A social identity approach to leadership development”.
