Is COVID-19 information overload causing bottlenecks in our community response?

20 Aug 2021

Professor Jolanda Jetten, along with Mohammad Al-Khafaji, Chief Executive of the Federation of Ethnic Communities Councils of Australia, and Dr Jessica Kaufman, research fellow in the Vaccine Uptake Group at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute, editor and author with the Cochrane Consumers and Communication review group, were recently guests on ABC Radio National discussing the speed of Covid-19 pandemic problem-solving and how communities and individuals are dealing with exposure to information overload.

The interview examined the impact on our behaviour when we're asked to be so responsive, and what changes in the source, style and delivery of the messaging could do to ease the load.
